In Our Quest For Peace, We Need To...

The White Square

The white square is the symbol of Peace Quest, to represent the peace dove. Peace Quest is one day where everyone is peaceful; no fighting, war or arguments. It’s all stopped for one day. This day falls on Sept. 21^st.

Doctors go to Afghanistan and vaccinate against Polio, give medicine, etc. Enemies tell jokes, play cards, have fun together. It’s sad because right after all that fun, they go back to doing what they were doing as enemies.

So let’s all pitch in and make it peaceful every day!

On Peace Day each year the war stops in around fifty countries and it stops for the whole day!

This means many children from places like Afghanistan can get the medicine they need!

The symbol for Peace Day is a white square to represent the peace dove and surrender from war and non-peace!

Peace Day falls on September 21^st every year!
