There were times I thought my toes
would fall off!
The whole thing started with a long,
bumpy bus ride. Kids screaming and yelling. Then, the whole bus went quiet and
Ms. deGroot walked off.
We waited for what felt like hours.
Eventually, we were escorted into and old barn surrounded by trees, trees and
more trees. There, we discussed the rules and regulations, followed by a 5
minute snack.
From there, we took a hike that felt
like miles. When we got to our destination, we were given maps and set off into
the wild. Our mission was to find the 12 checkpoints and win the game.
After that, we cooked our lunch on an
open fire.
Then we packed up our things, took a
short hike and returned to the barn. From there, we played some games and
hopped back on the bus.
Over all, the Gould lake adventure
was a blast!
